The Big Time
Six-piece indie with five-part harmonies.
The Big Time are a six-piece pop, rock and indie band built around male lead vocals, keys, guitar, trumpet, bass and drums, with five-part vocal harmonies central to the sound. The set runs from Arctic Monkeys through to The Zutons, with the trumpet and harmonies giving the arrangements more weight than a standard guitar band. Female vocals and sax can be added for larger productions.
Kent-based and available nationwide, members have played together since they were twelve, putting over a decade of combined stage time behind them. Credits include Reading & Leeds, Isle of Wight Festival, TV appearances, national radio plays for their original material and a BBC award nomination.
Standard format is two 60-minute sets or three 40-minute sets with full PA, lighting and a playlist DJ service. Add a daytime jazz duo of keys and trumpet, an extra evening band set, or a 1am finish, and upgrade to a manned DJ if needed.
