Pop, soul and disco six-piece with dual leads.
Groove & Tonic are a six-piece pop, soul, disco and funk band built around dual male and female lead vocals, with guitar, bass, keys and drums underneath. The set covers 70s disco and soul classics (Chic, Sister Sledge, Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Donna Summer) through to modern chart material (Sabrina Carpenter and current pop).
Nottinghamshire-based and available UK-wide, the members met performing on cruise ship residencies and have built a varied working repertoire from that touring background. Add sax and trumpet to scale to an eight-piece with a fuller horn-led sound.
Standard format is two 60-minute sets or three 40-minute sets with full PA, lighting and a playlist DJ service included. Add an acoustic duo daytime set, an extra evening set, or upgrade to a manned DJ. First dance learned free of charge.
