Pop and rock hits with a folk inflection.
Folk Fables are a four-piece folk-inflected pop and rock band with male lead vocals and guitar, saxophone, bass and drums. Three-part harmonies sit at the core of the sound, and the set covers chart pop, rock'n'roll floor-fillers and soul and rock classics, all reworked with a folk lean.
London-based and available nationwide, the band trained together at music school. The drummer's credits include the live premieres of The Terminator and Blade Runner; the saxophonist has played West End runs of Chicago, 42nd Street, The Bodyguard and Beautiful; the guitarist has toured with the Adele tribute Someone Like You and had songs played on Radio 1; the lead singer leads his own original jazz outfit.
Standard format is two 60-minute sets or three 40-minute sets with full PA, lighting and a playlist DJ service. Add an acoustic daytime set, early or late finishes, or upgrade to a manned DJ for live requests.
