Breaking News are a four-piece pop and rock band fronted by female lead vocals, with guitar, bass and drums underneath. The set moves between modern chart material (Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Olivia Rodrigo, The Weeknd), funk-leaning pop (Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Pharrell) and a thread of pop-punk and 00s anthems that gives the night an edge.
Surrey-based and available UK-wide, the band's credits include the Isle of Wight Festival, Latitude, Victorious, The Electric Ballroom and a West End run in SIX The Musical. The lead vocalist has been featured on BBC Introducing with original material played on Voice FM and iHeartRadio.
Standard format is two 60-minute sets with full PA, lighting and a playlist DJ service included. Add a daytime acoustic set, upgrade to a manned DJ, or extend to a 1am finish.
